Cancellation and Rescheduling

Showing up for your Coaching Calls is very important. Not only does it show commitment to yourself and the work but also shows respect for both your and my time. I have a firm cancellation policy as outlined: If you need to cancel and re-schedule any Coaching Call, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. You may advise me by sending an email to [email protected], text or in our Voxer meet-up. If you need to cancel or reschedule a Coaching Call within the 24 hours, it will be considered forfeited and there will not be a reschedule opportunity for that session. If an emergency occurs, please email or call me immediately and at my sole discretion, I will determine whether the Coaching Call may be rescheduled. If not, again it will be forfeited.

Missed Payment

In the event that there is a problem with the payment transaction or method, you will be notified by e-mail and then given a 72 hour grace period to make payment following the due date. After 72 hours, you will incur a $10 per day late fee. If no payment is made, the Program will be automatically terminated and no refund will be provided.

Refund Policy

If for some reason you are not satisfied and wish to stop the Program at any time, a one (1) month written notice is required outside of the initial three (3) month program commitment. Due to time and effort and Program planning put in by your COACH, no refund will be provided for the initial coaching Program and only refunds with one (1) month written notice will be accepted outside the three (3) month Program payments.

Notwithstanding any damages that the CLIENT may incur, the COACH's entire liability under this agreement, and the CLIENT'S exclusive remedy, will be limited to the amount paid by the CLIENT to the COACH under this agreement for all services rendered up until the termination date.

This is the entire agreement of the parties, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.

In-Person Events, Day Experiences & Retreats

The following terms apply to all in-person programming hosted or co-hosted by the COACH, including but not limited to single-day experiences, workshops, women's wellness events, and multi-day retreats (collectively referred to as "Events"). By registering for or attending any Event, the CLIENT agrees to be bound by the terms set out in this Addendum in addition to the terms of the main Coaching Agreement above.

  1. Professional Scope & Disclaimer

The COACH is a certified Accountability Coach and facilitator. The COACH is not a licensed medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, registered therapist, counselor, dietitian, physiotherapist, or any other regulated health professional. Nothing shared, discussed, or facilitated at any Event — including but not limited to coaching sessions, movement activities, wellness programming, group discussions, or guest presentations — constitutes or replaces medical advice, mental health treatment, therapeutic intervention, nutritional guidance, or any other form of regulated health or wellness service.

The CLIENT acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Participation in Events is voluntary and based on the CLIENT's own informed judgment.
  • The COACH does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any physical, mental, or emotional condition.
  • Any information shared at Events is for general educational and motivational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.
  • The CLIENT is solely responsible for consulting qualified professionals regarding any health, wellness, or mental health concerns before participating.
  1. Assumption of Risk

The CLIENT acknowledges that participation in any in-person Event, including movement-based or physical wellness activities, carries inherent risks. These risks include but are not limited to physical injury, emotional discomfort, or adverse reactions to physical or group activities. The CLIENT voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, and accepts full personal responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may result.

The CLIENT confirms that they are in adequate physical and mental health to participate and agrees to inform the COACH in advance of any condition, limitation, or concern that may affect their participation. The COACH reserves the right to limit or modify a CLIENT's participation in any activity for the safety and well-being of all attendees.

  1. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the CLIENT hereby releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless the COACH (Brittany Anderson), any co-facilitators, venue partners, guest speakers, sponsors, and their respective agents, employees, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses — including legal fees — arising out of or related to the CLIENT's participation in any Event, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or physical harm, including injuries sustained during movement or physical wellness activities.
  • Emotional distress or psychological discomfort arising from group discussions, coaching content, or personal disclosures.
  • Loss of or damage to personal property.
  • Actions or omissions of third-party vendors, venues, guest facilitators, or other participants.

This release applies to claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  1. Medical & Health Conditions

The CLIENT confirms that they do not have any physical or mental health condition that would prevent safe participation in any Event activities, or that they have obtained medical clearance from a qualified healthcare provider prior to attending. The COACH strongly encourages any CLIENT with pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or mental health concerns to consult with their healthcare provider before registering for or attending any Event. The COACH is not responsible for any adverse outcome related to a pre-existing or undisclosed condition.

  1. No Guarantee of Results

The COACH makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty regarding the outcomes, results, or experiences a CLIENT may have as a result of attending any Event. Results will vary depending on individual circumstances, effort, and personal commitment. The COACH's role is to facilitate, inspire, and support — not to guarantee any specific personal, professional, or health outcome.

  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy for Events

Event registrations are non-refundable unless the Event is cancelled by the COACH. In the event of a cancellation by the COACH, the CLIENT will receive a full refund of any amounts paid for that Event. If the CLIENT is unable to attend a registered Event, the COACH may, at her sole discretion, offer a transfer of registration to a future Event or a credit toward other programming, but is under no obligation to do so. No refunds will be issued for partial attendance or early departure.

  1. Photography, Video & Media Consent

The CLIENT acknowledges that photo and/or video content may be captured during Events for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. By attending an Event, the CLIENT grants the COACH permission to use any likeness, image, or voice captured during the Event for these purposes, without compensation or further notice. If the CLIENT does not consent to being photographed or filmed, they must notify the COACH in writing prior to the Event.

  1. Code of Conduct

All Event participants are expected to engage with respect, openness, and integrity. The COACH reserves the right to remove any participant from an Event — without refund — whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, harmful, or incompatible with the values and safety of the group. This includes but is not limited to harassment, discrimination, or conduct that interferes with the experience of other participants.

  1. Governing Law

This Addendum and all Event-related terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising under this Addendum shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
